Between Nerd Knights (yes, I think I should be spelled with a ‘k’) and the challenge to be a dangerous, wild man, I will never forget the influence you have had on my life as an older brother in the Lord these last two years. There is no other environment that I yet know of that equates to sitting around a table with some coffee for hours with you, Curtis, and Steven talking seriously about eternal, invisible things. Whether it is Jacob’s Ladder, the end times, prophecies, the book of Jude, angels, being wild, raising a family, or any number of exciting subjects, there is freedom to talk as men in that place. I get jacked even writing about it, and it makes me want to drive to Charlotte!
I know the year 30 is coming up for you, and I know Holy Spirit has been talking to you. I pray that he strengthens you inwardly to rise to the battles before you. I pray that he guides you along his ways and paths this year. Remember the Torch and the Sword. As nerd knights, we must keep the torch of his presence before us, and sword of his word on our tongue. I look forward to seeing how the Lord leads you these next few years.
