I can officially say that I have been in the longest relationship of my life with you! 30 years together is a long time. You are the best brother I could have asked for. You were always there for me…to ask to go into the briar patch after a wild pitch; or while playing hide and seek, to take a softball to the face; or when you “cross the line,” take a Bruce Lee kick in the teeth! I take pride in all the experiences I was able to give you growing up.
As I reflect back on our life together, some of the things that come to mind are…
Your wisdom. You are wise beyond your years. You are able to give me and many others Godly advise about the word of God, life, ministry, and leadership. Your passion. Your passion for people and the Lord is very contagious. You have a way of exciting people about anything, sometimes even nothing. Your ability to hear the Lord’s voice and speak truth. Your dedication to God, your family and the ministry.
I am excited to see how the Lord will use you as you begin this new chapter in your life at the age of 30. I count it a privilege to call you my brother. I am excited to watch what the Lord is about to do in your life and ministry. Praying for you all the time.
